Dracula

A Gothic Tale of Mystery and the Unknown

Bram Stoker

A young English solicitor travels deep into Eastern Europe on a routine business trip. What begins as a simple journey quickly turns into something far more unsettling.

The further he goes, the more the world around him begins to shift. Languages blur. Customs feel unfamiliar. And small, passing details — easily dismissed at first — begin to linger.

Locals speak in half-warnings. Strange traditions surface without explanation. Ordinary moments take on a quiet, persistent tension.

Told through journal entries, Dracula unfolds with steady, mounting unease, where each observation feels precise, and yet never quite complete. Nothing is overtly wrong — but something is not right.

By the time the journey reaches its destination, the tone has already changed. The ground has shifted. And whatever lies ahead no longer feels like business.

This is how it begins.
